While there are many sections that suggest they are one in the same, this POV has a physical Seraphina in an office reviewing data while speaking with Sovereign AI. Conversations during this interaction make it evident that the two entities are unique but in the context of other references leaves unanswered qustions about the true nature and relationship of Seraphina and Sovereign AI.
Seraphina is next mentioned in Arc 2 Chapter 2 when Rune priest Anrake confronts Sovereign.
“Can it, Sovereign,” Anrake interrupted, his tone casual, though the undercurrent of authority was unmistakable. “Is that even the name you go by these days? I lose track with your type. You’re always changing. Would you prefer Sovereign, Sov, Alicia, Marwen… or should we just cut to the chase and call Seraphina to join us? I assume she’s still an aspect of yours?”
